Since 1776, the Declaration of Independence remains a founding promise to secure our inalienable rights that include life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. On America’s 250th birthday, remember, the freedom this country promised belongs to all of us. Hate and bigotry aren't patriotic. Silence isn't an option. While we celebrate, we remember the responsibility to defend that freedom belongs to every generation.

I'm not sure how Israel and Lebanon are going to get anywhere in ceasefire negotiations as long as 'The Anti-Normalization Laws' are still on the books.The statute explicitly criminalizes any agreements, financial dealings, or contact with Israeli nationals or entities. Even casual online interactions or expressing public sympathy toward Israel carry significant legal risks.
