Did you know:  Last week, Boko Haram, an Islamist terror group in Nigeria, slaughtered 29 school children for "the crime" of participating in Western, secular education. To date, Boko Haram has been linked to the deaths of 3,600 Nigerians, with almost weekly attacks on Christian churches. The U.S. State Department has refused to designate Boko Haram as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
Ramadan began July 8 and runs through August 17. This year, Arab satellite TV channels are airing "Khaybar." a series referring to the Muslim massacre of Jews in that town in 628CE. 

Bangladesh
Before the Khmer Rouge There was the Al-Badr Brigade (CAMERA) The recent request by the government of Bangladesh to extradite prominent British Muslim leader Chowdhury Mueen-Uddin to stand trial for atrocities committed in 1971, provides disturbing historical perspective on the phenomenon of Islamic extremism. Mueen-Uddin is a prominent Muslim leader in England. He has served as chairman of the Multi-Faith Group Healthcare Chaplaincy in Britain and is a trustee of Britain's leading Islamic charity, Muslim Aid. He was a leading figure in the protests by the British Muslim community against Salman Rushdie. According to the indictment, Mueen-Uddin was a leader of a Pakistani Islamist group called the Al-Badr Brigade that hunted down prominent secularist intellectuals in what was then East Pakistan.
