Can you believe it, US at war over 16 yrs and still no draft!

220 Airstrikes on Palestinians; World Yawns - Khaled Abu Toameh (Gatestone Institute) While all eyes are set on the weekly demonstrations organized by Hamas and other Palestinian factions along the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel, as part of the so-called March of Return, a Palestinian refugee camp near Damascus is facing a wide-scale military offensive and ethnic cleansing by the Syrian army and its allies. The war crimes committed against the Palestinians in Yarmouk camp have so far failed to prompt an ounce of outrage.... The international community seems to differentiate between a Palestinian shot by an Israeli soldier and a Palestinian shot by a Syrian soldier.

Taliban announces onset of ‘Al Khandaq Jihadi operations’ - Bill Roggio (Long War Journal) US forces in Afghanistan are the primary target of operations. In a follow-up article, this author says: (US) State’s repetitive call for the Taliban to make peace demonstrates an unthinkable fundamental misunderstanding of the Taliban and its goals some 16 years after the US first entered Afghanistan.

This just goes to show how seriously we should take the Simon Wiesenthal Center warning on Yom Hashoah. A new study released on Yom Hashoah found that 22% of millennials said they haven’t heard of the Holocaust and that two-thirds didn’t know what Auschwitz was.
PA Holocaust abuse: Photo of concentration camp victims misrepresented as Arab victims of Jews - Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik (PMW) Just days before Israel's Holocaust Memorial Day, Palestinian Authority Holocaust abuse and exploitation has reached a new low. What the New York Times Isn't Telling You about Israel's Gaza "Blockade" - Ira Stoll (Algemeiner)  Some Times accounts mention Egypt's participation in the "blockade," while others omit it.  Yet in one week in March 2018, 2,728 trucks entered Gaza from Israel carrying 74,202 tons of supplies. In addition, Israel supplies electricity to Gaza via ten power lines. And Israel supplies water to Gaza via two pipelines. Some "blockade."

Israel Warns of Ecological Damage as Gazans Prepare to Burn Thousands of Tires at Border - Tovah Lazaroff (Jerusalem Post) Palestinians plan to engulf the Gaza border with smoke and flames from thousands of burning tires on Friday, according to a Gaza source. Videos on social media show hundreds of tires that have already been gathered.
from the Atlantic Israel had warned Gaza residents against protesting, and said Hamas, the militant group that governs Gaza, was “cynically” sending women and children “to the security fence and endangering their lives.”
