Day 222 Hostages Update: IDF Says Hostages Are in Rafah
Since that announcement four days ago, the bodies of 4 hostages have been rescued from Gaza: Shani Louk, Amit Buskila, Ron Benjamin, and Yitzhak Gelernter. All were murdered by Hamas terrorists on October 7 and their bodies then abducted by Hamas and taken to Gaza.  Until now, Amit and Yitzhak were believed to be alive.

ON CAMPUS

Instead of feeling supported by their peers, administrators, and professors after October 7—the darkest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust—Jewish students have been ostracized, isolated, and faced outright antisemitism. 

At Universities across the country we're seeing encampments that are often described by MSM as pro-Palestinian when in fact they are pro-terrorist. The "protestors" spout terrorist propaganda and lies. They say they're protesting genocide, but then call for the elimination of Israel (the genocide of over 9 million Israelis). They say they are protesting colonialism, but then want to replace Jews, the indigenous people of the region, with Muslim Arabs. They harass and threaten Jewish students. Those who might actually be concerned for the well being of Gazans are supporting a movement motivated by an erroneous and illogical belief that Israel is singularly responsible for the continuation of the Israel-Palestinian conflict and the suffering it causes and that Israel can unilaterally bring this conflict to an end. They are ignoring Hamas' stated goal of creating maximum civilian casualties.

University leaders across the country - Northwestern, University of Michigan, Brown, Harvard, Rutgers, and more - are  capitulating to illegal encampment groups’ list of demands. This is dangerous behavior that they are encouraging, i.e., Jordan Acker on the Board of Regents of UM was threatened at his home with a list of their demands. They've destroyed campus property without repercussion.

"Special treatment for Anti-Israel encampments is not free expression. It is selective enforcement and viewpoint discrimination—the enemies of free expression," said Ritchie Torres

University administrators are failing to address the extreme anti-Semitism on campuses. Calls for violence against any group is hate speech. But rather than enforce their own rules and codes of conduct,  universities are negotiating with the minority of students who have shown little regard for campus life and a knowledge of history, rather than teach them.
Universities should be promoting coexistence and peace; they should be implementing measures to promote understanding, respect, and dialogue among students. We can cultivate a campus climate that celebrates diversity and fosters mutual respect. First step, remove encampments and take a strong stand against the blatant antisemitism being openly expressed by students and some faculty.

Anti-Zionism is antisemitism.

Unfortunately, all the noise about campus violence is overshadowing Hamas holding hostages, both dead and alive. It was just confirmed that Dror Or, who was captured on 10/7, is dead and his body is being held hostage by the terrorists. Hamas released another propaganda video showing hostages American Keith Siegel, 64, and Omri Miran, 46.  It's been over 210 days that men, women, and children have been held by the terrorists; and Israel is being bombarded daily by missiles from Hamas and Hezbollah. Israel has given Hamas a week to strike a deal or Rafah offensive will begin. Reminder: Hamas has never honored a ceasefire.
