With all that's happening in Egypt and its impact on the region, this week's update is a little longer than usual. Just click the blue links for more details.

About Egypt:
Crisis in Egypt, Execution Binge in Iran (CAMERA)
How is the Egyptian crisis affecting other countries? Jordan's King Abdullah dissolved his government and appointed a new one, charging it with bringing about "effective, tangible and real political reform." The Palestinian Authority is blocking Palestinians from holding protests in solidarity with the Egyptian uprising, while announcing that local elections will be held as soon as possible. In Syria, citizens have called for a day of protest on February 5. And Iran is taking the opportunity to embark on a binge of executions.

The real situation faced by refugees in Northern Sinai (EveryoneGroup)
Bedouin traffickers, Hamas militants and terrorists of Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood yesterday patrolled the streets of Rafah, armed with modern kalashnikovs and rocket launchers. Israel is extremely concerned about the events taking place in Egypt, where protesters are calling for a holy war and a "great intifada" (backed by Nobel laureate Mohammed El Baradei). They are attacking Jewish residents, forcing Israeli citizens to rush back to Israel to avoid the violence. The situation is tense among the Christian community too, and many Christians see the attack on the Coptic Church of Alexandria as the prelude of a fundamentalist revolution aimed at taking control of the state.

Chaos in Non-Oil Arab Countries - Hakim Almasmari (Yemen Post)
2011 has already seen the most change in the Middle East in over 50 years while only one month has passed. We expect the crises to spread to Bahrain and Kuwait by the middle of the year, as those countries are also a time bomb waiting to explode. Saudi Arabia will enter a family crises as all their major kings and rulers are over the age of 80. Algeria and Jordan are revolting in a quick pace. Iraq is already in chaos. Syria and Qatar are stable. Does this prove that nations that ally with Iran succeed, like Syria and Qatar?
