Britain's Arabists - Samuel Westrop (Gatestone Institute) The British government provides £86 million every year to the Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian Authority pays the salaries of terrorists in Israeli jails, names football competitions after suicide bombers, and its government-controlled media promotes martyrdom and demonizes Jews. While the British government is keen to whitewash its funding for the terror-supporting Palestinian Authority, it is even keener to demonstrate its opposition to any funding of Israeli scientific projects.

Israel Concerned about U.S. Drift toward Arab League Stance- Barak Ravid and Jack Khoury (Ha'aretz) While there were positive parts of the Arab League's announcement, such as the desire to renew the peace process, there were concerns of a drift in the American position, moving it toward the Arab position of "small" border shifts and minimal land swaps of identical size.

Since 2012, The United States has been offering $10 million to anyone who would provide information leading to the arrest of Hafiz Muhammad Saeed. The chances of him being brought to justice, however, would appear to be quite low. The 64-year-old is not even hiding. “I come and go as I wish. If the Americans want to come and get me, they have my address. My fate is in the hands of God, not in those of the United States.”

Rhodes said the experience confounded his expectations. "Most of these people live their lives with the same concerns as you and me...getting on the housing ladder, educating your children. People didn't even talk about Israel unless I brought it up."

A number of Salafist groups hostile to Hamas recently fired several rockets at Israel.
