Muslims are celebrating Ramadan, Jews Passover, and Christians Easter. Wishing you Chag Pesach Sameach, Happy Easter, Ramadan Mubarak!

Thousands of Christians celebrated Palm Sunday in Jerusalem without incident. Much of the press about the attacks by Palestinians from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem this week fail to mention that every year violence from the Arab side increases during Ramadan. Palestinian Arabs use their mosque as a weapons arsenal. Note:  Israeli police had made "many and prolonged attempts" to get those who had stockpiled "fireworks, sticks and stones" to leave.   "Following the removal of the violent rioters, Israel Police forces left the Temple Mount, and the mosque was cleaned after the rioters vandalized, defiled, and desecrated it. Early the next morning, the Fajr prayer was held at the Temple Mount as planned and the police worked to enable the arrival of significant numbers of Muslim worshipers."
Meanwhile, terrorists in Gaza fired unguided rockets at Israel that have no military purpose and are only launched to terrorize Israeli civilians. Palestinian terrorists fired dozens of rockets from Lebanon into Northern Israel, striking communities, incl. playgrounds, and sending thousands of Israelis celebrating Passover into shelters. The current assessment is that Hamas is responsible for carrying out the attacks, with the permission of Hezbollah in Lebanon and at the direction of Iran. This is the most severe provocation on Israel's northern border since the Second Lebanon War in 2006. The main reason this has not been a mass casualty event is because of U.S. support for the Iron Dome, a defensive weapon.
