115 Hostages Still in Captivity

Hostages Update:
EmojiThe Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet recovered the bodies of five hostages—Maya Goren, 56; Master Sgt. (Res.) Oren Goldin, 33; Staff Sgt. Tomer Ahimas, 20; Warrant Officer (Res.) Ravid Katz, 51; and Sgt. Kiril Brodski, 19—during a military operation in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday. Their bodies were hidden in a tunnel shaft 20 meters underground. The tunnel was in an area designated as a "humanitarian zone."
EmojiTwo more hostages confirmed dead, murdered in Hamas captivity after they were abducted from Kibbutz Nirim on October 7, 2023: Yagev Buchshtab and Alex Dancyg. Their bodies are still being held by terrorists.

Since October 7, the terrorist groups Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis have launched over 19,000 rockets into Israel, aiming to kill as many Israelis as possible. In the north, over 60,000 Israelis have been displaced since Oct 8 where Hezbollah continues to target villages and houses.

EmojiThis is just 1 of many Hamas misfires; no one knows how many are dead as the result of these misfires (nor how many Israelis would be dead had they been successful). On July 25, Hamas fired rockets at Israel from a humanitarian area in Khan Yunis. They fell short and hit UNRWA's Al Qarara school, killing two and injuring many others. The IDF coordinated with WHO to take wounded to a field hospital. Note: UNRWA has gone radio silent on this. International headlines, none.

The Olympic Committee guidelines forbid making political statements. The Israeli team was prevented from from wearing a yellow ribbon calling for the release of hostages, but the Palestinian flag bearer was allowed to wear a shirt depicting Israel dropping bombs on children, just as Hezbollah drops bomb on Israeli children playing soccer and killing 11 kids.
