Summary/Details Below:
Just as Hamas was running out of money and under increasing pressure by Egypt and Qatar to reach a ceasefire and release more hostages, we were suddenly innundated with sickening pictures and stories of starvation in southern Gaza. There have been claims of starvation in Gaza since November 2023. There is a real crisis now, people are suffering, people are hungry. Why are the major sources of our news using doctored or AI generated images. The New York Times has appologized for using a misleading picture. The BBC has instructed its employees to limit its reporting that contradicts Hamas' narrative. Images of mothers holding children suffering from genetic disorders have been cropped to cut out a healthy sibling standing next to him. The front page of Italian papers featured a similar portrait of a sick child without stating that child was evacuated to Italy months ago and the photo was taken in Italy. Did you know a key demand of Hamas in the most recent talks was the elimination of GHF (Gaza Humanitarian Foundation)? Did you know that the green beret being interviewed as an expert on almost every channel is a disgruntled GHF employee who praised the organization until he was fired? Did you know that UN refused to deliver almost 1000 truckloads of aid sitting on the Gaza side of the border because Israel wasn't allowing them to use Hamas "police" to guard the trucks. There’s enough food.  Distribution has always been the problem.

In sections of Gaza, markets are full. Restaurants and bakeries operate. Major news organizations refuse to show these images.  Hamas cannot maintain control over the people nor buy more weapons without profit from selling aid. Aid is the lifeline of Hamas. It’s made the leaders billionaires. There’s no shortage of aid just a terrorist regime hoarding it. Gaza’s hunger is real, and Hamas is the reason.

On Famine in Gaza:
Matti Friedman: Is Gaza Starving? Searching for the Truth in an Information War: “I don’t know if people are dying directly from hunger, as is being claimed in Gaza, but there is hunger in Gaza, and we need to state this loud and clear.”  Even a senior figure in the Israeli military told one of my colleagues at the end of last week that while there isn’t mass starvation as claimed by pro-Hamas propaganda, Gaza really is on the brink this time.  https://www.thefp.com/p/matti-friedman-is-gaza-starving-searching-for-truth-in-information-war  Video interview with Matti Friedman https://www.instagram.com/reel/DL_llv7tHH9/?igsh=NjZiM2M3MzIxNA%3D%3D
Truth behind viral images:
A shocking video surfaced of Hamas operatives eating like kings in the Gaza tunnels.
Gazawood and Imshin have been documenting the abundance of food by reposting TikToks and Telegram videos shot in Gaza by Gazans

Erin Molin: YES Children Are Suffering In Gaza... THIS IS WHY

On Distribution:
The UN itself reports that 87% of its 2,010 food trucks in Gaza (85% by tonnage) from May 19–July 29 were "intercepted" https://app.un2720.org/tracking

On Medical Care
COGAT—Israel’s coordinator for civilian and humanitarian affairs in the Palestinian territories—facilitated travel for 180 patients and caregivers from Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing to receive medical treatment in Europe and Jordan. Over the past year, COGAT has helped more than 3,700 Gazans, primarily patients and their caregivers, exit through Kerem Shalom for medical treatment in other countries.

Hostage UpdateOver 664 days have passed since October 7th. 50 hostages continue to suffer in captivity. They suffer every minute.  PIJ  said that it had lost contact with the terrorist cell holding Rom Braslavski hostage in the Gaza Strip, and that it is no longer aware of his present condition. Today they released a video of him, leaving Rom Braslavski's family shaken by his starved, emaciated condition. He was abducted from the Nova Music Festival.
Hamas had finally submitted an edited ceasefire response. It was deemed unacceptable – even by Qatari and Egyptian mediators. With Hamas rejecting attempts to reach a deal, the US and Israel are making plans to free the hostages militarily, at the same time there are reports that Hamas is prepared to execute all the remaining living hostages if the IDF gets close. Israel is surging aid to Gaza even after Hamas rejects deal
