China
China offers to broker Netanyahu-Abbas meeting - (AP and Times of Israel) Both leaders set to travel to Beijing next week, days after Arab League endorses idea of minor land swaps for peace

Great Britain
Britain's Arabists - Samuel Westrop (Gatestone Institute) The British government provides £86 million every year to the Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian Authority pays the salaries of terrorists in Israeli jails, names football competitions after suicide bombers, and its government-controlled media promotes martyrdom and demonizes Jews.  While the British government is keen to whitewash its funding for the terror-supporting Palestinian Authority, it is even keener to demonstrate its opposition to any funding of Israeli scientific projects.

Israel
Israel Concerned about U.S. Drift toward Arab League Stance- Barak Ravid and Jack Khoury (Ha'aretz) While there were positive parts of the Arab League's announcement, such as the desire to renew the peace process, there were concerns of a drift in the American position, moving it toward the Arab position of "small" border shifts and minimal land swaps of identical size.

Pakistan
Since 2012, The United States has been offering $10 million to anyone who would provide information leading to the arrest of Hafiz Muhammad Saeed. The chances of him being brought to justice, however, would appear to be quite low. The 64-year-old is not even hiding. “I come and go as I wish. If the Americans want to come and get me, they have my address. My fate is in the hands of God, not in those of the United States.”

Fatah: Murderer of father of five is "The hero, the released prisoner"  -  Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik (PMW)  Fatah's Facebook page is celebrating the murder and glorifying the murderer.
British TV Finds Boom, Not Bombs, in Gaza - Jennifer Lipman (Jewish Chronicle-UK) "Before I started researching, I thought the region was destitute - people living literally hand-to-mouth on aid." In fact, Sevi Rhodes of Channel Four found "a growing wealth gap," with new apartments being sold for up to $3 million to wealthy Palestinians with money from abroad or from jobs with the Hamas government. Rhodes said the experience confounded his expectations. "Most of these people live their lives with the same concerns as you and me...getting on the housing ladder, educating your children. People didn't even talk about Israel unless I brought it up."
Hamas Military Wing Securing Borders with Israel - Kifah Ziboun (Asharq Al-Awsat-UK) Fighters from the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, have replaced policemen on the borders of Gaza in an effort to prevent the firing of rockets at Israel. A number of Salafist groups hostile to Hamas recently fired several rockets at Israel.  The Al-Qassam Brigades have set up roadblocks and have begun searching cars and travelers in areas near the border. The brigade was also deployed in areas far from the border that were used in the past to fire rockets at Israel. The Hamas government has also been carrying out a campaign of arrests among Salafist jihadists.
Fear and Fundamentalism as the "Modesty Police" Patrol Gaza- Phoebe Greenwood (Telegraph-UK) Police in Gaza arrested at least 41 men on charges of immodesty in April.

United States
Pro-Hizbullah, Pro-Hamas Stations Broadcasting in America - Charles C. Johnson (The Blaze) The Lawfare Project has found that two television stations - NileSat IPTV in New Jersey and ArabTV4ALL in California - are broadcasting transmissions from pro-Hamas (al-Aqsa) and pro-Hizbullah (al-Manar) television stations.   Al-Aqsa uses popular cartoon figures to indoctrinate children and incite them toward hatred and violence.

Al-Dura: a lethal narrative that just won’t die - Elihu Stone (Times of Israel)
If the French court, for either political or technical reasons, sides with state-owned France 2 against a bold and correct critic, they strike a blow not only against press responsibility, but the very fabric of the civil society they ought to play such a key role in preserving. Such an abject failure on the part of both the media and the courts to correct this penchant for mainstreaming the enemy’s lethal narratives makes the world a much more dangerous place.

Raping Women in the Name of Islam  - Khaled Abu Toameh (Gatestone Institute) According to reports in the Arab media, the two British women of Pakistani origin traveling with their father were gang raped in accordance with a fatwa [Islamic religious decree] issued by Jordanian Salafi Sheikh Yasser Ajlouni. Ajlouni's fatwa allows the jihadis to have sexual intercourse with women who fall captive during war. That they were part of a human convoy headed to help Muslims in the Gaza Strip did not prevent Libya's jihadis from perpetrating their crime.
