See the Sunday, May 22, The New York Times article, "Promise of Arab Uprisings is Threatened by Divisions." Through the first 10 paragraphs, it discusses the revolutions and revolts to the Arab world, specifically siting religion, fundamentalism, clans, sects, and ethnicities as obstacles to peace in Egypt, Tunisia, Syria, Bahrain, and Libya - not Israel nor Palestine.
